What an itemised quote actually looks like
A lot of cabinetry quotes are a single number at the bottom of a page. That's convenient for the supplier and useless to you, because there's no way to adjust it without renegotiating the whole thing.
Ours breaks the project into the parts that carry the cost:
- Carcasses — board type, thickness and whether moisture-resistant board is specified
- Doors and fronts — the finish, and what changing finish would do to the price
- Hardware — hinges, runners, handles, soft-close mechanisms
- Internals — shelving, rails, drawer boxes, pull-outs and pantry fittings, each priced separately
- Countertops where applicable, priced by material and metre
- Delivery and installation, included rather than added later
That structure lets you make deliberate decisions — keep the premium finish and simplify the internals, or the reverse — instead of guessing where the money is.
How long it takes
We'll usually come back within one business day of the site measurement. If you'd like a rough figure before then, send WhatsApp measurements and we'll give you an honest ballpark.
Useful things to include
None of these are required — the form works fine without them — but each one makes the first reply more useful:
- Approximate wall length and ceiling height. Cabinetry is priced per linear metre, so length is the single most useful number you can give us.
- A photo of the space. It shows service positions, wall condition and obstructions faster than any description.
- The finish you're drawn to. Melamine, wood-grain, wrap or sprayed — our finishes guide explains the differences and costs if you're unsure.
- Your rough budget band. It changes what we recommend and saves you being shown things that aren't relevant.
- Your timing. Whether this is for next month or next year — both are fine, and it helps us plan.

The site measurement, consultation and itemised quotation are all free, with no obligation whatsoever. Plenty of people take a quote and come back months later when the budget is ready — that's completely normal, and we'll happily re-price when you do.

A deposit is payable once you approve the final design and quote, and it's what releases the job into manufacturing. The exact terms are set out on your quotation, so there's nothing to discover afterwards.
